Getting Invited for a ToneADay Campaign

I got selected for a ToneADay campaign! Woohoo!!!

Just like what an old Filipino saying goes…

“Kapag may tiayaga, May nilaga” (If you have patience, you get stew) or something like that…

No, a better translation for that phrase is… If you have perseverance, it will bear fruit.

For example: I rated phrases on ToneAday for 3 weeks. I rated for free and was unsure if I will ever get paid. A number of my friends already told me that the site has turned scam which was kind of scary because the time I spent on clicking and rating would have just gone to waste. But whenever I see a comment that says the site is a scam, another would respond saying that it is not. So I kept on rating and when June came I got a notification that I have been selected to join a campaign.

That means --- one rating = .02 cents. I got a bucket of 1,244

Just see how much I have earned so far…

Ain't this sweeeet???

TIPS TO BE SELECTED FOR A CAMPAIGN

1. Rate sincerely - Don't just slide the sliders for the sake of sliding  c",) Your rating should depend on how the words make you feel.

2. Understand what you are rating. If you don't you can always click on the word and a definition will pop-up.

3. Don't get discouraged and rate regularly. If you don't your ranking will go down which means you wont get invited. I am not sure about this, but I think only those whose ranking is 300 and above are invited for campaigns.

Now, it may take a while before you get chosen for a campaign but I suggest you go ahead and rate even if it means that you would have to be a good Samaritan for some time. Remember that in ToneADay, even if your ranking does not qualify you for a campaign, you can be drawn for the weekly draw. This  happened to me and I got and extra $10.

you want to earn money? Then join ToneADay now!

Update on ToneADay Status

Wow! The others were right. It does take a lot of patience before you earn in ToneADay.

I am now on my 2nd week of rating phrases and my status has improve just by an inch.

I'm soldiering on, keeping my fingers crossed, and hoping that payday comes soon.

Making Money Online Through ToneADay

A friend of mine started a discussion in myLot about ToneADay which made me quite curious.

(usernames are not disclosed since I don't have their permission to put this in my blog)

The discussion went like this.....

Hence, my aroused curiousity led me to sign up with ToneADay and after 3 days, here are my stats so far...

I hope I am close to become part of a campaign which is good because once you are part of a campaign, every word you rate is .02. I wish it comes soon because this site is really a patience tester but if I get paid, then it will be just all worth it.

Anyway, if you are wondering what myLot is about click here to learn more.

Ordering at Amazon.com using the payment from Mturk

Making Money With MTurk

I have tried earning money through PTC's - I gave up on that.

I have tried earning money through PTR's - Didn't find anything legit.

I am still on myLot and am hoping that I will get paid. Their minimun pay-out is $10, so far I have $6 on my account. They only pay through paypal which is not available in the UAE, but I'm hoping that it will be sooner or later.

Thankfully, I found a new hobby!

I am now trying another money making site called mTurk. It like Odesk whre you get to do jobs requested by other members, but here you don't have to bid so it's easy to pick a HIT (that's what jobs are called), finish it, then submit. The requestors will decide to Accept or reject your work and some of them pay really fast, others pay after 3 - 4 days. My favorite requestors are Oliver and Dolores Labs.

I have also found an mTurk forum wher you can sign up if you feel lost in completing Hits. It's a friendly community. Ask all you want.

Ther is one important thing that I have to mention: Mturk only pays cash for US residents. If you are not from the US, you can still do Hits in mTurk but you only get paid through the Amazon Gift Card which you can use to shop on their site. Still cool right?

This is not an affiliate site. They give real tasks. So if you want those extra bucks, sign up and enjoy!
