Google Adsense PIN

Google is a very big company so that must mean that Google adsense would be legit, right?

Well that's what I thought but not until 10 minutes ago were all my doubts erased.
I know Google adsense is legit but at the back of my head were some unsure thoughts since I haven't recieved my PIN from them yet.

For those who are new to Google adsense, your Google adsense PIN is required for you to be able to accept payments from them. You don't automatically get it when you sign up.

When you log in to your account, you will find a message saying Your account is on hold. Don't be alarmed. You can request for your PIN just by clicking on their link.

Now, here's comes a test of patience. Your PIN doesn't come right away when you request for it. In my case I had to request 3 times before it came.

At last, my wait is over! I am now sure of Google adsense' genuineness so my aim now is to promote my blog, get traffic so they will click on the ads.

For those who have blogs or websites that don't have advertisements... don't waste time add Google adsense now.

So Disappointed With Gagabux

Gagabux turned out to be a scam!!!

This is so sad since it's the PPC program that I have decided to put my focus into. It is very hard for me to get referrals because my friends don't believe in online money making programs. And Gagabux turning out to be a scam would only increase their skepticsm because I've made a big anouncement that I have asked for a cash-out and am just waiting for it on my paypal account. I told them that if it turns out to be true, they should all sign up as my referrals so they could earn money too.

The sad news is that I've been waiting for more than a month now and the $2 is still in queue. What a bummer.

I'm starting to lose faith in PPC's all in all.

My myLot friends tell me I should try others and they are giving me some sites, but I think I'll wait for my dissapointment to wear off before I try signing up for a PPC again.

I'm continuing Buxify and my other PPC's. Hopefully I get something out of clicking.

Getting Traffic For Your Blog

Since I am no SEO expert, I research as much as I can about how to get traffic for my blog. I asked the myLot peeps and some of them gave really good advise.

I hope they can be useful to you to.

My Question:

I have a blog about money making which seems to be a very common topic. I have registered my blog to search engines but it is still not searchable.

I have adsense in my blog. but if I cant get traffic how can I make money from adsense?

Can you give me any tips?

Advice from saumitrakumar:

Regular update your blog.Post at least one post daily if you have enough time.Submit to search engines and wait for 2 or 3 weeks.Blog directories are also very good ways to drive traffic to your blog. But one thing,be patient and let your blog traffic increasing. You can go for Google Adword also, but you have to pay some fees for it.
Create email signature.Tell other peoples or your family to see your blog.Submit it to article writing sites.Write articles and give a link to your blog.As you have said, your blog contains adsense,so don't try traffic exchange sites.Go for some classified sites and submit your blog to it.These are the various ways through which you can drive traffic to your blog.

Advice from johnbrainless:

Get into some traffic generation sites like trafficg and try to post your website to as many catalogs as possible. also try to find ways to advertise for free through tweeter and facebook for example. be well.

Advice from archon309:

Patience is the key. Also, keep updating your blog. If you can post one short entry a day the better. :). Also visit other blogs and post some comments and don't forget to leave the link to your blog. Just like what I did to your blog just now. :)

Also, join other communities like blogcatalog and mybloglog and get as many friends as you can so that your blog will have more exposure.

Advice from rbdescartin:

According to the adsense expert they said according to drive traffic to your site you must have your own domain at first according to look it professional but it is better to start for a free site, I suggest to watch or visit joelcomm.com he is the adsense expert earning a thousand dollars a day in adsense, how I wish I could earn that one day.

Advice from magtibaygom:

Google AdSense seldom give money based on traffic alone. The visitors must click ads. If you are generating huge volume of traffic to your blog and none of them are clicking the ads, there is still a chance you will make money, but the money will be too little. You have need to optimize the placement of your ads in your blog for higher chance of clicking. There is a tutorial about this in Google AdSense back-office site.

I haven't tried doing all their tips yet, but I did a few and had positive result.

I know saumitrakumar said not to go for traffic exchange sites but I did anyway and I liked seeing from Google analytics that people view my blog. Although they only view it for an average of 20 sec, having visitors is better than none.

The traffic exhange site that I joined is traffic ad bar. You get points with every website that you view and in turn they send other members to view your websites you. You can submit up to 5 website so can promote, not only your blog, but your other sites you, like your PTC's.

You can join TrafficAdBar by clicking on the banner

How to Get Visitors For Your Blog

As I have mentioned on my previous post, creating a blog and placing Google adsense is easy. The difficult part is to get visitors to browse your blog.

The first thing you need to do to submit your blog search engines like Google or Yahoo.

There are other different kinds of search engines, but let us just stay with the most well-known ones.

There might be a better and more proper way of doing it but here is how I did mu submission...

Go to google.com or yahoo.com and type in their search bars submit URL to Google or submit URL to Yahoo. You then copy paste your URL and add some comments if you want to and viola! their spiders will crawl your site and after a day or two your blog will come up when you type it on their search boxes.

Don't just type a few words and expect to see your blog come up. You would need to do some research about keywords and SEO first before you achieve that.

If you don't have the patience or 'talent' to do SEO here are some programs that you can try Stupidly Simple SEO or Marketing Fringe (Laziest Way To Flood Your Site With Free Traffic).

Making Money from Blogs With Google Adsense

It has been a while since I last posted a blog. It is part of my nature (and of some of you too, I believe) to start some things and not finish them.

Anyway, I know patience is the key to achieving most things, so I'm back and I am promising, with one hand over my heart, that I will continue with my blog until I reach my goal... so help me God.

My earning online escapade is getting a very, very slow progress because I am starting to get tired of my PTC’s and I also found out that myLot has no way of paying me since I am in the UAE, so now I am planning to concentrate on my blog and am even thinking of starting another one with a different topic.

My blog’s primary income generator is Google adsense. For those of you who don’t know what it is, Google adsense is a way for you to get paid by placing ads on your blog or website.

Getting adsense on your blog is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

1. Create your blog.
2. Apply for an adsense account
3. Generate your ads and place them on your website.

Not very detailed, I know, but I’ll let the experts do the explaining so I’ll just add the link here Google Adsense

Now when you have added Google adsense you get paid for every click on the ads that are on your site. Easy right? … Not!

Making a blog and adding adsense is easy, but how do your get visitors to your website and how do you get them to click on the ads?

This is what I am working on now, so if you find the topic interesting, feel free to follow my blog. :)
